LAGOS TEACHER BITES HER NEIGHBOURS RIGHT THUMB

A lady, identified as Mrs Taiwo Adewale, has been arrested for biting off the thumb of her neighbour.

The incident happened on Thursday, at No 3, Ibidun Street, Governor road Ikotun. It was gathered that the suspect, who teaches at Binta International school, Ejigbo, and her neighbor were having a crucial argument when she bited her thumb.

FIRE OUTBREAK IN BALOGUN MARKET

Fire has gutted a shopping complex on Martin Street on the Lagos Island area of Lagos State. Our correspondent learnt that men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and Lagos State Fire Service have been deployed to put out the inferno. Many traders, our correspondent learnt, had been struggling to salvage some of their goods from the burning building. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage had yet to be ascertained as of press time.
