Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa was an outstanding man of God this man died twenty three years ago but when you listen to his
tapes and videos it will look as if they were preached today, thats because he preached the raw word of God, Benson Idahosa
of his blessed memory preached the undiluted word of God without giving a damn about how people will feel about it because
he was a man of faith he was preaching the word of the Almighty God and as long as God was pleased with him he was fine and
ok. Benson Idahosa was born on the (11th, september 1938) and he died on the 12th of March 1998 at the age of 59, he was the
founder of Church Of God MIssion the church was inagurated in 1968. Idahosa was a man born of fire he was a member of
Assemblies of God church before he founded Church Of God Mission, when he was 24years old he went to church and he heard his
pastor preaching that Jesus said cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead, cast out devils, then
after service he went to his pastor and asked him did you say Jesus said i can cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the
leper and raise the death then his pastor said yes, then Idahosa took his bicyle and started looking for where there was
dead person. He searched everywhere he coulnt find a dead person but he didnt relent at about 4:15pm in the evening he got
to where a little child died and he asked them is there anybody dead here? and they said yes and the people there asked him
what he wanted to do to the dead person and he told them he wanted to raise the dead back to life, and he said glory to God
and he took the child the child was three years old he loooked at the child he didnt know what to do because he has never
done it before and he said baby be healed and there was no answer from the child, the girl was still dead, and he said again
baby be healed with tears in his eyes but she died the more and he said my pastor said i can raise you, but there was no
answer then he turn to the bible passage where his pastors read from in the church mathew 10v8 and he saw when Jesus drove
everyone out of the room in the bible in Mark 5v40, and they all left the room and they asked him what do you want to do he
told them that Jesus drove them out and thats why he is reciprocating it, the people he drove out stood at the corridor and
he read the book of Mark 5v41 and the bible said damsel i said unto thee arise and he called back the parent of the girl and
asked them what the name of their daughter was, and they told him the name of the girl was INUATA and he said in the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth INUATA i command you jack back to life and in five seconds the girl sneezed and came back to life,
that was his first miracle and that was the genesis of his ministries, at the ti,e God used him to raise that girl he was
totally a novice when it comes to theological knowledge he was just a lover of God that wanted to try what his pastor told
him and God made it to work. God worked through Benson Idahosa in an unusual way using him to do notable signs and wonders
when his univeristy was been built and the contractors where lacking materials to work he went to the store house and
commanded the materials to multiply and the materials multiplied. Benson Idahosa was a threat to the witches and wizard in
Benin Kingdom and ite environs, there was a time when the witches and wizard made a proclamation that they are coming to
benin to hold their international meeting and Benson Idahosa told them that as long as he is still in Benin the meeting
cannot hold the leader of the witches and wizard told Idahosa that even if Jesus came down the meeting will still hold,
Idahosa simply said Jesus dont have to come down because he was there to represent him, they were both invited to a radio
station and Idahosa simply told the leader of the witches and wizard that he wasnt a witch and that if he was so sure that
he was a witch he should say it and he Idahosa will kill him there because the bible say suffer not a witch to live (exodus
22v18) and the leader of the witches and wizard said he wasnt a witch, can you imagine? All this things didnt just happen
casually before Idahosa started his ministry the Holy Ghost asked him to walk round the city of benin which he did and the
last day he annointed the round about at the centre of benin that was how this exploit all started. Benson Idahosa was the
father of Pentecostalism he was the first man of God to preach on television, he was the first to preach on the radio, God
gave him a tongue coated with coal of fire there was nothing he said that God didnt confirm. Through didvine connection he
was admitted in a theological school in the United States of America but he didnt finish his course before leaving there
because he wanted to tell the world the word of God in a vehement way which he did, many notable men of God can trace their
rrot back to this man of God, Bishop David Oyedepo is one of them, Ayo Oritsejafor is one of them, Benson Idahosa was well
respected by many because of the numerous things God did through him there was a day someone fell off the roof and the
person broke his skull and died instantly, And Idahosa gathered his skull together and spoke in the holy Ghost and the man
came back to life (Acts19v11), many will say its a brutal lie but God actually did unusaual miracles through this man there
is no one God cannot use he can decide to choose and use anyone that is why he is sovereign, There was a day a man of God
and his wife came to Benin to preach in one of his programme and they had to go back to lagos that same day so that they
could catch up with their internatioinal flight but they forgot to book the flight that will take them to Lagos, And Idahosa
pleaded of the Airline Authority to please let his guest into the flight but they told him the flight was occupied already,
but he told them to allow him to go into the airline to plead of two people to release their space, because of his level of
the grace God have bestowed on him the Airline Authority gave him the go ahead, and the airline was about to take off before
he got there he waved at the airline pilot to halt the airline which the pilot did and he got inside and told the
passenegers that they should please release two sit for him so that the man of God and his wife can go back to Lagos that
day, many of the passengers knew him and some of them were even his church member and they pretended not to hear of see him
he said it again and they still turned their faces away, As he was about to live the aircraft a two men stood up from the
back and offered their sit to him and he walked towards them and asked one of them whats your name and what do you do and
the man answered him and told him his name and the man said he was a bussiness man and that the other man that stood up was
his assistant and Benson Idahosa of his blessed memory said "The world will stand up for you, God will take your bussiness
to every nook and cranny of africa and beyond and as the river of waters never stop flowing thats how your wealth will never
stop to flow" and all the passengers said amen, He madde this proclamation in tears because the man who offered his sit and
that of his assistant was not a christian he was a muslim and that man is Aliko Dangote amazing isnt? And today the world
have really stood up for Aliko Dangote he is the richest black man in the world, despite all the criticism Dangote wealth
have never stopped flowing, he is a bussiness mogul but you will agree with me that there are people who have better ideas
than him but they are no where to be found there is no household in NIgeria that have not used any of Dangote's product in
one way or the other thats becasue God is the one behind his bussiness. A lot of people critisized his minsistry when he was
alive because they beleive he was using diabolical power to run his ministry but God disgraced all of them and prove them
wrong that he was actually the one using Benson Idahosa, the feat Idahosa got to before his death cannot be reached by men
of God that have been preaching after his death because he worked vigorously in the vineyard of the lord and the lord used
him mightily and prospered him.
